Claude Clayton Smith’s novel, The Personal Assault of Loretta Lang, is being serialized online at Icarus Down Review. Additionally, he served as editor/translator for the forthcoming book, MEDITATIONS After the Bear Feast: The Poetic Dialogues of N. Scott Momaday and Yuri Vaella (Shanti Arts Publishing, 2016). Finally, Claude was recently selected as one of 19 mentors by AWP to work with one of 19 mentees this spring in the Writer to Writer program.

Claude Clayton Smith (contributor to The Conium Review‘s Fall 2013 issue) won this summer’s Great River Shakespeare Festival Sonnet Contest. Congrats, Clayton!
Additionally, his essay “Interiors” appeared in the fall issue of Still Point Arts Quarterly, and “Rat Cheer,” a brief memoir, will appear in the next issue of American Athenaeum.
