Contributor Update: Chris Fradkin’s recent publications

Chris Fradkin headshotChris Fradkin (contributor to The Conium Review: Vol. 1, No. 2) was recently published in the journal Child Abuse and Neglect. You can read the full-text version of his article, “Shared adversities of children and comic superheroes as resources for promoting resilience,” at Research Gate.  The article “considers the ‘pre-cloak’ stage of comic superheroes as a tool for the empowerment of vulnerable children,” as explained by Fradkin on the University of California, Merced website.

He also recently published “A Summary Evaluation of the Top-Five Brazilian Psychology Journals by Native English-Language Scholars” in Psicologia: Reflexao e Critica. And his article “Why the Endless Queue for Star Wars Makes Me Smile” appears at Pop Mythology.

Thomas was a contributor to The Conium Review: Vol. 2, No. 2 with his story “Evidence of Harm.” His short stories have also appeared in CONSEQUENCE Magazine, Chicago Quarterly Review, Beloit Fiction Journal, and elsewhere. He is the editor and designer for Printer’s Devil Review, and he is the executive editor of the Best Indie Lit New England series.
