HOUDINI, Kirby Wright’s first play, was performed at the Secret Theatre in New York in February 2016. He will be lecturing as a Visiting Writer this Fall in Finland and Sweden.
Kirby Wright’s work appeared in three prior issues of The Conium Review, and he has been published in numerous other literary magazines, including Pithead Chapel, Calliope, Drunken Boat, Monkey Puzzle, Hayden’s Ferry Review, and others. He is the author of several books, most recently Hong Kong Man (Lemon Shark Press, 2015).

We’re pleased to unveil the cover art for The Conium Review, Vol. 2, No. 2 (Fall 2013). The artwork, entitled “River Horse,” is courtesy of Loren Kantor, a LA-based woodcut artist and writer. Loren has worked in the film industry for twenty years as a screenwriter and assistant director, and he’s been carving woodcuts for the past five years.
